Job Title: Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer

Location: Enfield, Greater London

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £36k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a switched-on and experienced Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer, to cover a range of commercial and infrastructure sites in / around the M25. Our client is a respected name within the Water / Legionella industry, who provide the full range of services, including plumbing and risk assessments, and can support training into these areas. It would be advantageous to hold some remedials / plumbing experience, but this is not essential. Salaries on offer will be reflective of your experience, but remain attractive, and benefits include: overtime opportunities, company vehicle and fuel expenses.

You will be travelling across: Enfield, Epping, Potters Bar, Harlow, Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Barking, Billericay, Basildon, Grays, Tilbury, Watford, St Albans, Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden, Sawbridgeworth, Bishop's Stortford, Beasonsfield, Harrow, Wembley, High Wycombe, Chesham, Milton Keynes, Luton, Stevenage, Windsor, Aylesbury.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Strong track record working as a Water Hygiene / Treatment Engineer
  • It would be advantageous to hold plumbing experience / qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2, Plumbing Diploma and / or G3 Unvented)
  • Good knowledge of industry guidelines, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
  • Adaptable to travel requirements
  • Hardworking attitude
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

  • Conducting a range of pre-planned Water Hygiene / Treatment duties
  • Showerhead and outlet descales
  • TMV servicing and failsafe checks
  • Flushing on little used outlets
  • Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
  • Calorifier inspections
  • Water sampling
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Completing regular service reports
