Role: Water Network Technician
Location: South Wales
Day rate: Competitive
Contract: 6 month contract
The Role
We are looking for a Water Network Technician to support the operation and performance of a regional water distribution network. The role focuses on maintaining service standards, resolving network issues, supporting customers, and driving continuous improvement across water quality, pressure, flow, and supply reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the safe and efficient operation of the water distribution network.
- Investigate network performance issues and implement improvements.
- Work closely with operational teams, analysts, and contractors to deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate operational records and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist with incident response and emergency activities.
- Support complaint investigations and identify root causes of recurring issues.
- Participate in an emergency standby rota.

Requirements
- Experience in water network operations, utilities, leakage, hydraulics, or a related field.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyse issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Relevant technical qualification or equivalent industry experience.
