For a greater career just add water!
Water Recycling is at the heart of our operations. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres.
Would you like to be part of a team responsible for the safe and sustainable operation and maintenance of our water recycling assets?
What will you be doing?
We are recruiting for a Regional Network Support Manager who will provide leadership support to both Regional Network Manager, covering sites across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex in ensuring the safe and effective operation of the sewerage network, associated pumping stations and overflows across our region.
This is a highly visible role that requires flexibility to work across multiple locations and operational areas, providing technical expertise and support to both Regional Network Managers and wider teams. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
