Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and documented at all times.
  • Tasks to be carried out in accordance Marlowe Environmental Services procedures/method statements.
  • Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within your team, to sub- contractors, and to clients to company standards and procedures.
  • Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with client representatives as required.
  • Report any pertinent issues to your field manager or client representative as appropriate.
  • At all times adhere to the clients specific Health and Safety/Safe Working practices.
  • Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose.
  • To complete all tasks identified as the responsibility of the Water Technician (level 1) in accordance with the method statements.
    • TMV valve servicing both failsafe and strip down.
    • Cleaning of the cooling towers & tanks (2nd man).
    • Tank inspections.
    • Temperature monitoring and accurate recording of results.
    • Sampling of domestic systems and accurate submission to the laboratory.
    • Descaling and cleaning of showers & shower heads.
    • Flushing of little used outlets.
  • Ensure all documentation is correctly completed on the tablet or electronic system and sent in live time.
  • Depending on the entity you work for, you may also be required to do the following:
    • Conduct BSRIA Chemistry and BSRIA Micro sampling.
