Summary

NSI Commercial Building Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Water Treatment Account Manager to join our expanding team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial water treatment who enjoys building customer relationships and delivering high-quality compliance solutions. You will manage an established customer portfolio whilst identifying opportunities to grow our services.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Water Treatment customers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Review water treatment reports, system information and analytical results.
  • Provide customers with appropriate water treatment advice and recommendations.
  • Prepare quotations for remedial, planned and additional treatment works.
  • Coordinate service delivery with operational and engineering teams.
  • Support customers in maintaining effective water treatment and system management programmes.
  • Conduct regular customer review meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for additional water treatment, water hygiene and compliance services.
  • Develop existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for organic growth.
  • Ensure treatment programmes are appropriately specified and commercially viable.
  • Monitor contract performance and profitability.
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate customer and contract information within company systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider NSI Commercial Building Solutions team to deliver a consistent customer experience.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience within the commercial water treatment industry.
  • Good understanding of water treatment principles and closed/open water systems.
  • Knowledge of water treatment chemicals, monitoring and analytical requirements.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract profitability.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple customer requirements.
  • Ability to interpret water treatment reports and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and developing customer accounts.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience managing commercial water treatment contracts.
  • Knowledge of closed heating and chilled water systems.
  • Experience with cooling towers or evaporative cooling systems.
  • Understanding of relevant water treatment standards and guidance.
  • Relevant water treatment qualifications or industry training.
  • Experience preparing technical quotations and remedial recommendations.

Working For Us Means

  • The salary is between £35,000 & £50,000 per year, depending on your professional experience.
  • Bonus Opportunities
  • Company vehicle or car allowance
  • Holidays - 25 days + 8 statutory days
  • Probationary Period – 6 months.
  • Pension – Can join immediately or auto enrolled after 3 months - Employee 5% and Employer 5% via salary sacrifice.
  • Eligible to join Private Healthcare after successfully completing probation.
  • Enrolled in Group Income Protection and Death in Service (4 x basic salary) upon commencement of employment.
  • Notice – 1 week during probation, increasing to 1 month thereafter.
