Progression into Junior Account Manager
Salary: GBP35,000 : GBP45,000
Location: Cambridge
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Engineer to join a successful and growing company based in Cambridge. This role is ideal for a Water Treatment Engineer looking to develop their career and progress into a Junior Account Manager position.
As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will initially focus on delivering high-quality technical services across a range of commercial and industrial sites. Working alongside an experienced Area Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training to develop your customer-facing and account management skills.

Salary and Benefits
- GBP35,000 basic salary with OTE up to GBP40,000.
- Company vehicle (Toyota Corolla Commercial or similar).

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out water treatment testing and monitoring using site test kits.
- Work with cooling towers, steam boilers, and closed systems.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Build strong customer relationships and support service delivery.
- Work closely with the Area Manager to develop your account management skills.
- Gradually take on increased responsibility for client relationships and account development.

Requirements
- Experience as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.
- Hands-on experience using water treatment test kits.
- Experience with steam boilers, cooling towers, and/or closed systems.
- Knowledge of HSG274, BG50, and L8 guidance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
