Mobile Water Treatment Technician – Tier 3

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Location: Sandwell, Birmingham & Coventry

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) to join our team, covering four hospital sites.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive water treatment and water hygiene works across the Sandwell Hospitals contract, with occasional travel to other sites across the Birmingham and Coventry region.

  • Temperature monitoring
  • Showerhead descales
  • Cold water storage inspections
  • Tank inspections and cleans
  • TMV servicing
  • Water sampling
  • Water softener servicing
  • Closed system monitoring and maintenance
  • Chlorine testing
  • Internal chlorifier inspections
  • Completing accurate service records and reporting any issues identified on site

About You

We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Technician with strong practical experience in legionella and water hygiene.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Previous Tier 3 water treatment/water hygiene experience
  • Relevant Water Treatment And/or Legionella Qualifications
  • Experience across the core water hygiene duties listed above
  • A Level 2 Plumbing qualification is highly desirable
  • A full UK driving licence
  • The ability to work independently across multiple sites
  • A strong understanding of health, safety and compliance requirements
