About the Company

With over 17 years’ experience in a wide range of water hygiene and water treatment services to commercial clients, Marsh’s services help you fulfil legal obligations, maintain the efficiency, effectiveness and longevity of your commercial water systems, maintain safer water systems, and implement successful water hygiene and treatment strategies.

About the Role

The Water Hygiene Technician will be responsible for ensuring that the water hygiene and water treatment maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with Marsh, current L.C.A standards and any relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Temperature Checks
  • Water Sampling
  • TMV Inspection and Servicing
  • Shower cleans and disinfections
  • Tank inspections and cleans
  • Chlorination works
  • Service and replacement of water softeners and filters
  • To regularly and effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and other Marsh personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.
  • The job holder will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently, and to work supportively within a team.
  • Attend to emergency disinfections during normal working hours and outside of normal working hours where necessary.
  • Punctual site attendance, wearing relevant PPE and clothing issued.
  • Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required.
  • Submitting weekly accurate timesheets.
  • Communicating with Contracts Managers on job progression.

Required Skills

  • Valid driving licence
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • The ability to work on your own or as part of a team and make calculated assessments of breakdowns.
