The Role

The Associate plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of exceptional client service across Azets Wealth Management. Working closely with advisers, Client Relationship Executives, and operational colleagues, the role is responsible for coordinating client activities, progressing new and existing business, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a seamless client experience throughout the financial planning journey.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for clients and providers, help manage workflow efficiently, and contribute to the smooth running of the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, client-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a long-term career within a growing and ambitious wealth management business.

  • Is able to communicate professionally with clients to request missing information/deal with basic queries that arise.
  • Communicates in a professional and confident manner.
  • Puts client service delivery at the forefront, ensuring timely acknowledgement of client queries and escalates as required.
  • Able to identify and escalate to senior team members areas of improvement for the future from current working practices.

Technical Excellence

  • Clears review queries with reduced assistance and with thought and attention to detail.
  • Ability to use key performance software independently with reduced support (Intelliflo, Microsoft Office, Azets Reach, People XD).
  • Involved in less complex compliance, beginning to take more responsibility for sections of the work.
  • Continues to develop sector-specific professional knowledge.
  • Increased awareness of upcoming and existing changes in relevant legislation and standards applicable to the role.
  • Able to spot issues/areas of possible contention or increased risk early in the process and escalate to senior colleagues.
  • Reduce recurrence of similar or same review points.
  • Able to spot where previous solutions and experience can be applied.

Advanced Administrative and Organisational Skills

  • Task Management: Efficiently managing and prioritising a higher volume of administrative tasks.
  • Advanced Filing Systems: Implementing and maintaining advanced filing systems for better organisation and retrieval of documents.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organising and coordinating meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Document Management and Processing

  • Document Preparation: Creating and formatting complex documents, reports, and presentations.

  • Compliance Checks: Performing compliance checks on documents and transactions to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Policy Implementation: Assisting in the implementation of new policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • KYC and AML Procedures: Conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures as required.

Advanced CRM and Software Proficiency

  • CRM Systems: Proficient use of CRM systems to manage client information, transactions, and communications.
  • Office Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Data Management Tools: Utilising data management tools for organising, tracking, and analysing data.

Financial and Transaction Processing

  • Transaction Logging: Logging and tracking financial transactions accurately in relevant systems.
  • Fee and Commission Support: Assisting with the calculation and logging of fees and commissions in the firm's CRM system.
  • Reconciliation: Supporting the reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
