Wealth Management Operations Manager
City of London | £50,000 – £70,000
Full-time | Mainly office-based with hybrid days
If your background is in IFA, financial planning or wealth management operations and you really understand the client onboarding journey, this could be a very interesting next move.
We're looking for an Operations Manager to join a young, ambitious and growing wealth management business.
This isn't a traditional back-office role.
You'll take ownership of the client onboarding and implementation journey — coordinating account opening, transfers, platforms, providers and everything needed to get new clients and families set up properly.
But you'll also help build the operational model behind the business.
Processes. Workflows. Technology. Automation. AI.
The aim is to create a genuinely best-in-class client and operational experience as the business grows.
The opportunity
- You'll work closely with the founder and have significant ownership from day one.
- You'll be hands-on with client onboarding and implementation while also designing how these processes should work in the future. The underlying role genuinely spans both direct operational delivery and creating the procedures and workflows around it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Confident working with platforms, various tax wrapper providers and the wider client journey.
