The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre and we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team
The team of Wealth Planners provide a financial advisory service to clients and prospects of the Wealth Management business. This incorporates all aspects of regulated advice, including pensions, tax advice and general guidance on financial issues. The Wealth Planning proposition is core to the wealth management offering and is often the starting point for new clients of the business.
What you’ll do
- Manage a portfolio of high-value client relationships, owning the delivery and execution of their associated wealth planning strategies and structures
- Actively market and develop profitable new client relationships using resources provided to you and your network
- Provide financial advice to new and existing clients, covering all aspects of their lives, ensuring all client engagement is profitable, compliant and in the client's best interests
- Meet with clients regularly, ensuring any agreed action is documented and implemented swiftly
- Have primary responsibility for new client set-up, sign off and suitability for advice structures
- Make clients aware of new and relevant planning opportunities that will benefit their position and meet their overall planning objectives
- Act as a source of knowledge for portfolio managers in matters related to financial planning
- On occasion, provide content to Marketing for distribution externally to clients and professional advisers and internally as training and updates for the wider Cazenove Capital business
- Maintain and update your knowledge through continual professional development (CPD) and examinations, where suitable

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Experience in advising high-net-worth individuals on wealth planning and tax strategies
- In-depth pension and taxation knowledge across all relevant areas
- An approved Level 4 or above FCA-approved regulatory qualification
- Achieved or close to attaining the CII Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, Chartered Financial Planner or equivalent professional qualification
- A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- Familiarity with the fund management, professional advisory, IFA or life company industry
- Minimum 3 ‘A' levels or equivalent
- Pension Transfer Specialist qualification would be an advantage
- Possess an excellent understanding and working knowledge of the major wealth planning strategies available in the UK marketplace and how these can be applied to HNW clients
- Good understanding of Intelliflo Office and The Exchange.
