The Senior (JF5) in the Wealth Management team

We are looking for a Diploma qualified Para-Planner to join our team.

Working as part of the Financial Planning Support Team, you will need to provide high quality and accurate support to Financial Planners.

Core Skills

  • To provide technical and research support to the planners
  • To assist the support team and compliance department when required
  • Prepare suitability reports
  • Prepare review reports
  • Prepare a summary of recommendations for the processing team
  • Ensure all recommendations meet with company standards
  • Question the planner’s recommendations if applicable
  • Discuss any cases that are not clear with your line manager or compliance manager
  • Collate (or complete) application forms
  • Learn and maintain a detailed understanding of firm's centralised investment proposition and relevant internal procedures
  • Ensure client records are maintained and information is correctly recorded on intelliflo

Essential Experience

  • CII Level 4 Diploma
  • Experience in managing and delivering wealth management services to clients
  • Paraplanning experience is essential
  • Experience in using CRM systems and financial software

Technical Skills

  • Financial Software Proficiency
  • Financial Planning Software: Basic knowledge of tools such as Intelliflo Planning and CashCalc.
  • Portfolio Management Systems: Introduction to software like FE Analytics 2. Data Entry and Management
  • Excel: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for simple data entry and basic functions

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Basic Financial Analysis: Understanding basic financial concepts and being able to perform simple financial calculations
  • Report Generation: Skills in generating basic suitability reports using templates and guidance
