We are seeking an experienced Wealth/Investment Manager with a CFA designation to lead investment research, portfolio management, asset allocation, and investment strategy development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing investment portfolios in line with client objectives, risk parameters, and investment mandates. The role will involve fundamental and quantitative investment analysis, portfolio construction, risk management, and ongoing monitoring of market and portfolio performance.
The Investment Manager will work closely with senior management, Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, and clients to develop and implement investment strategies and identify attractive investment opportunities across global financial markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee investment portfolios in accordance with defined investment mandates, objectives, and risk parameters.
- Develop and implement investment strategies across equities, fixed income, credit, alternatives, and other asset classes.
- Conduct detailed fundamental and quantitative investment research to identify attractive investment opportunities.
- Perform company, industry, sector, economic, and market analysis.
- Develop asset allocation recommendations based on market conditions, investment objectives, and risk tolerance.
- Construct and rebalance portfolios while maintaining appropriate diversification and risk exposure.
- Monitor portfolio performance, attribution, liquidity, volatility, and risk.
- Conduct valuation analysis and assess expected risk-adjusted returns.
- Perform due diligence on securities, investment managers, funds, and other investment opportunities.
- Develop investment theses and present recommendations to the Investment Committee or senior management.
- Monitor macroeconomic developments, financial markets, interest rates, credit markets, and geopolitical factors that may impact portfolios.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide investment-related insights and updates where required.
- Prepare investment reports, portfolio reviews, and performance analysis.
- Ensure investment activities remain compliant with applicable investment guidelines, mandates, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and other internal teams to ensure effective portfolio management.
- Continuously evaluate portfolio positioning and identify opportunities to enhance risk-adjusted returns.

Investment Research & Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial statement and company analysis.
- Build and review financial models and valuation methodologies.
- Analyze financial ratios, earnings, cash flows, balance sheets, and capital structures.
- Evaluate fixed income and credit investments, including credit quality, duration, yield, spreads, and default risk.
- Perform quantitative analysis of portfolio and market data.
- Assess investment opportunities using fundamental, quantitative, and macroeconomic research.
- Develop and maintain investment research frameworks and valuation models.
Portfolio Management
- Make investment decisions within established mandates and risk limits.
- Determine appropriate security selection, position sizing, asset allocation, and portfolio diversification.
- Monitor portfolio exposures and identify emerging risks.
- Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing.
- Review portfolio performance and investment attribution.
- Make recommendations for portfolio rebalancing and strategic asset allocation.
- Ensure portfolios remain aligned with client objectives and investment guidelines.

Requirements
- CFA Charterholder required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in investment management, portfolio management, investment research, asset management, or a related field.
- Proven experience conducting investment research and making investment recommendations.
- Strong understanding of global financial markets and investment products.
- Experience with portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
- Experience working with institutional, private wealth, family office, or similar investment portfolios is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Experience with portfolio management and investment research platforms.
- Strong understanding of portfolio analytics and risk-management tools.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and other financial market data platforms.
- Experience with quantitative or data-analysis tools such as Python, SQL, or Power BI would be an advantage.
