Role Overview
Sparta Global are hiring a Web Analytics Implementation Analyst to ensure digital products are accurately and consistently instrumented for analytics across web, mobile apps, Smart TVs, games consoles and set-top boxes.
The role will translate business and product requirements into clear tracking specifications, support implementation across multiple platforms and ensure analytics data is accurate, well documented and suitable for reporting.
You will work closely with Product, Technology, Data, BI, QA and external agency teams, with a particular focus on Adobe Analytics, tracking standards, quality assurance and change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical tracking specifications and data-layer requirements.
- Support the implementation of analytics tracking across web, iOS, Android, Smart TVs, consoles and set-top boxes.
- Work with development teams and external agencies to ensure tracking solutions meet reporting requirements.
- Test and validate analytics implementations, including network/payload checks and source-to-report validation.
- Maintain tracking documentation, specifications, change logs and release notes.
- Manage analytics changes across Development, Test and Production environments.
- Support reporting teams by ensuring tracking changes are reflected accurately in KPIs, datasets and reporting models.
- Work closely with BI and Data Engineering teams to ensure data quality, availability and consistency.
- Provide clear updates on delivery progress, risks, decisions and potential impacts.
- Share knowledge and promote consistent analytics standards across teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong experience implementing and administering digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, mParticle or similar.
- Strong HTML and JavaScript knowledge, particularly for implementing and validating tracking.
- Experience creating technical tracking specifications and data-layer requirements.
- Experience implementing analytics across multiple digital platforms, including web, mobile applications and connected devices.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, including features such as processing rules and segmentation.
- Strong understanding of analytics testing, QA and validation.
- Experience working through the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design through to testing and deployment.
- Experience working with third-party development or technical agencies.
- Strong documentation and change management experience, including specifications, change logs and release notes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Technology, BI, Data Engineering, Reporting and QA teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
