Web Application Support Engineer
Location: Canary Wharf, London - 3 days a week onsite expected.
Daily Rate: £416.00 Umbrella
Contract Length: Up to 2 years likely for strong candidates
Our client, a leading financial institution in the banking sector, is seeking a highly skilled Web Application Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This long term role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and reliability of web applications within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for web applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web applications, collaborating with development teams as needed.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements based on user feedback and system analysis.
- Assist in the deployment of application updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Document technical issues and solutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.

Experience Needed:
- Proven experience in web application support, ideally within the financial or corporate settings.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, and relevant frameworks.
- Familiarity with server environments and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
