The Specialists Journey Group is a collection of some of the world’s finest niche tour operators made up of a number of specialist brands, including Brightwater Holidays – the UK’s leading garden, scenic Scottish and special interest tour operator, Andante Travels – a leading provider of archaeological, cultural and historical holidays, and Dream Challenges a fundraising event service to UK charities.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Web Content Editor to join our Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with demonstrable experience of managing website content who enjoys creating engaging digital experiences and ensuring online content is accurate, visually appealing and easy for customers to navigate.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the Group's websites. Working closely with Product, Studio and Marketing teams, you will ensure our websites accurately showcase our holidays and support our commercial objectives. The main duties include the following:

  • Maintain website pages and digital content using our Content Management System (CMS), ensuring all information is accurate, up to date and presented to a high standard.
  • Create and update landing pages using existing templates and content modules.
  • Manage product-related website updates, including holiday copy, imagery, categorisation and pricing information.
  • Assist with the implementation of on-site SEO recommendations to improve search visibility and website performance.
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Studio and Marketing teams to ensure website content reflects current campaigns, promotions and business priorities.
  • Carry out visual and functional quality checks before and after publishing content across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Ensure website layouts, formatting and page structures remain consistent throughout the customer journey.
  • Support ongoing website maintenance, including content amendments, page removals, redirects and scheduled updates.
  • Proofread website content to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Assist with other website and digital marketing administration tasks as required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality digital content. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and collaborate effectively with colleagues, while also being confident using your own initiative.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience managing website content via a CMS.
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading and communication skills.
  • Experience with digital assets, spreadsheets and content formatting.
  • Understanding of SEO, metadata and website structure.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and customer journeys (desirable).

Position Details

This is a full-time position based at our offices, or hybrid or remote (with monthly visits to the office) working as part of a collaborative and supportive Marketing team.
