Become a Storyteller of UK Escapes - Join Us as a Web Content Writer
Why You’ll Love It Here:
At Forge Holiday Group, we don’t just do holidays, we create unforgettable experiences. With powerhouse brands including Sykes Holiday Cottages, Forest Holidays, and Bachcare in New Zealand, we’re 1,700+ strong and driven by four values: One Business, One Team, Keep It Simple, Grow & Learn, and Sustainable Impact.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Web Content Writer to join our Organic Search & Content Team and help bring some of the UK’s best holiday destinations to life online.
You’ll create, improve and maintain high-quality web content across our Multi-Unit Sites (MUS) portfolio and strategic park and resort partners, producing accurate, engaging and search-optimised property, park and resort content that helps customers discover their perfect UK escape.
Working closely with colleagues across Organic Search & Content, Partnerships, Commercial and Operations, you’ll turn partner priorities and customer needs into effective content plans. From creating and optimising landing pages to improving the content that promotes priority parks, resorts and partner propositions, you’ll make sure our content works hard for our customers and our business.
You’ll also support the management of Forest Holidays inventory and listings, ensuring property information, imagery, facilities, availability-related content and key selling points are accurate, complete and consistently presented.
It’s a great opportunity for a content professional who can work independently, juggle competing priorities and bring confident content and SEO thinking to cross-functional projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Create, update and optimise content - Write engaging, accurate and SEO-friendly property, park and resort descriptions across owned and third-party channels.
- Put SEO into action - Use keyword research, search intent, internal linking and on-page SEO best practice to improve organic visibility and content performance.
- Build better landing pages - Develop and maintain landing pages that showcase priority parks, resorts, campaigns and partner propositions.
- Support Forest Holidays content - Help manage inventory and listings, ensuring property details, facilities, imagery, availability-related content and key selling points are accurate and complete.
- Bring new partners to life - Coordinate content onboarding and updates for new MUS locations and strategic partners, identifying missing information, dependencies and risks early.
- Keep standards high - Proofread and quality-check content before publication, maintaining clear standards, templates and consistent content across our channels.
- Listen to our customers and partners - Respond to relevant feedback and resolve content inaccuracies to continually improve our listings.
- Use insight to improve - Use available data to recommend improvements to landing pages, listings and customer journeys.
- Work across the business - Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders while managing your own pipeline of work and communicating progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
