About The Role
We are seeking a talented freelance Web Designer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and user interface of Glite Tech on the web. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling, user-friendly web designs that align with our brand and enhance user engagement. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic startup environment, contributing to a product that aims to revolutionize language learning through innovative design and technology. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong sense of layout, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into visually appealing digital experiences.

- Proven experience in web design with an extensive portfolio demonstrating previous work.
- Strong skills in visual and layout design tailored for web applications.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar software.
- Ability to interpret loose ideas and develop thoughtful, innovative design solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
- Interest or experience in education, language learning, or AI-powered products is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how design choices impact organic growth and website performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually engaging and user-friendly web interfaces that reflect Glite Tech’s brand identity.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas clearly and efficiently.
- Ensure consistency in design across all web pages and digital assets, maintaining a cohesive user experience.
- Optimize designs for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices to enhance organic visibility and user engagement.
- Participate in iterative design processes, incorporating feedback and making improvements as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the project.
