About The Role
We are seeking a talented freelance Web Designer to join our team remotely. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity and user experience of Glite Tech on the web. As a Web Designer at Glite Tech, you will collaborate closely with our product and development teams to create engaging, user-friendly web interfaces that reflect our innovative spirit and commitment to education. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate conceptual ideas into intuitive visual solutions. This is a part-time, freelance position offering flexible working hours, perfect for professionals looking to contribute to a meaningful project while maintaining other commitments.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, creative flair, and a passion for education and technology. Key qualifications include:
- Extensive portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Strong visual and layout design skills, including typography, spacing, colour, and hierarchy
- Ability to conceptualize and develop thoughtful design solutions from loose ideas
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
- Understanding of SEO principles and how design impacts organic growth
- Interest or background in education, language learning, or AI-powered products is a plus
Responsibilities
The Web Designer will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing Glite Tech’s web presence, including:
- Designing and developing visually engaging and user-centric website layouts that align with our brand identity
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively
- Collaborating with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Optimizing website designs for responsiveness, performance, and SEO
- Maintaining consistency across all digital touchpoints and updating designs based on user feedback and analytics
- Staying informed about the latest web design trends and best practices to ensure our website remains innovative and competitive
