Role Description
The Web Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Liverpool. This position involves designing and maintaining client websites that are visually engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with each brand’s identity and marketing goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Creating page layouts
- Selecting and optimizing graphics
- Ensuring responsive design across devices
- Collaborating with the wider marketing team on content and campaigns

The Web Designer will work closely with clients to understand requirements, propose design concepts, and implement changes based on feedback. The role also includes:
- Coordinating with front-end developers
- Performing quality checks
- Keeping designs consistent with current web standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to create accessible, modern, and user-centered websites.
- Experience with Wordpress and Shopify.
- Strong understanding of SEO, GEO, AEO.
- Proficiency in Graphic Design and Graphics production, including use of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with Front-End Development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers and implement design elements.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles, information architecture, and web usability best practices.
- Ability to translate business and branding requirements into clear visual concepts and layouts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in agency or client-facing environments; portfolio demonstrating web design projects is required.
- Formal education in design, web development, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent practical experience is also valued.
