About The Role
We are seeking a talented freelance Web Designer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity and user experience of Glite Tech’s web presence. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on a dynamic project within a fast-paced startup environment. The Web Designer will collaborate closely with our product and marketing teams to create engaging, intuitive, and responsive web designs that align with our brand values and enhance user engagement. The position is part-time and project-based, perfect for professionals seeking to contribute to innovative educational technology solutions while maintaining flexibility in their work schedule.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess a strong portfolio demonstrating previous web design work, especially in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma is essential. Candidates should have excellent skills in visual and layout design, with a keen eye for typography, spacing, color schemes, and visual hierarchy. Experience working in startup environments or fast-moving projects is preferred. A good understanding of SEO principles and how design choices influence organic growth and website performance is also important. Interest or experience in education, language learning, or AI-powered products will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate is creative, proactive, and capable of translating loose ideas into thoughtful, innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities
The Web Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing web layouts that reflect Glite Tech’s innovative spirit. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for our web pages, ensuring they are visually compelling and aligned with our brand identity.
- Collaborating with developers and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Optimizing web designs for SEO and performance, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness across devices.
- Participating in brainstorming sessions, contributing to the development of new features, and iterating on design concepts based on user feedback and analytics.
