Role Overview

As a Web Developer at Grupo Island UK, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining websites that meet our clients’ needs and objectives. You will collaborate with our team to create both front-end and back-end solutions, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and user experience. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for creative problem-solvers who are passionate about web development.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development

  • Develop and maintain websites, including front-end and back-end development, that align with client requirements and design specifications.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and visually appealing.

Coding And Programming

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Utilize server-side scripting languages and databases for back-end development (e.g., PHP, Python, or Node.js).

Qualifications / Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
  • Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Knowledge of web development frameworks and libraries.
  • Experience with server-side scripting and database management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
