About The Role
The Shopify Developer (Mid & Senior) role at Pulse IT Recruitment Ltd offers an exciting opportunity for experienced developers to craft visually appealing and highly functional e-commerce websites for diverse clients. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with the marketing department to develop engaging website themes and marketing content using Shopify. Your primary focus will be on enhancing website usability, content management, and overall user experience to ensure our clients’ online stores are both attractive and efficient.
This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple projects from conception through to completion. You will be involved in building customized Shopify themes, optimizing website performance, and ensuring seamless integration with various marketing strategies. Your role may also include some client-facing responsibilities, requiring excellent communication skills to understand client needs and translate them into effective digital solutions.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify-based projects
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with TypeScript is an advantage
- Knowledge of WooCommerce is desirable but not essential
- Experience working within an agency environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities for the Shopify Developer (Mid & Senior) include:
- Developing and customizing Shopify themes to meet client specifications
- Building engaging and responsive website experiences aligned with marketing strategies
- Creating and managing website content, ensuring ease of use and accessibility
- Optimizing website performance for speed and efficiency
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing content and campaigns
- Implementing best practices for SEO and user experience
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting website issues
- Participating in project planning and providing technical input during the development lifecycle
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions accordingly
