About The Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Web Developer to join the Web Development Team at Bible Society. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our digital platforms, websites, and online resources. Your work will support both new initiatives and ongoing services, helping us to effectively communicate our mission and engage with diverse audiences. You will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver seamless digital experiences that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in web development technologies, including proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience with frameworks such as React and Next.js. Familiarity with server-side scripting languages like Node.js and PHP is essential. Candidates should demonstrate previous experience in building and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and digital platforms. A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical. Knowledge of accessibility standards and SEO best practices will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
As a Web Developer at Bible Society, your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining high-quality websites and digital platforms using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Collaborating with designers and content teams to implement engaging and accessible user interfaces.
