About The Company

At 1st Formations, we empower entrepreneurs to start, run, and grow their businesses with confidence. Running a business shouldn’t be slowed down by company formation, statutory compliance, accounting, or payroll. From day one, these essentials should be seamless, reliable, and intelligently handled — freeing founders to focus on building and scaling.

We’re a leading UK provider of company formation and compliance services, building a modern, fully integrated technology platform that supports founders at every stage of their journey. Our platform brings together formation, compliance, accounting, payroll, and ongoing business support in one cohesive experience. No stitched-together services. No legacy workflows disguised as software. Just a single, scalable platform built for ambitious founders who want to move fast, stay compliant, and grow with confidence.

Why Join Us Now?

You’ll be joining a business with strong momentum, clear direction, and real opportunity for progression. Our annual revenue stands at £18 million, including £9 million ARR, with over 1 million companies formed. As a certified B Corp and Carbon Neutral Business, we are committed to sustainability and social responsibility. We forecast to grow 5x–10x over the next three years, making this an exciting time to be part of our journey.

About The Role

The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining high-quality, performant web applications across 1st Formations' growing portfolio of websites and products. This is a hands-on, mid-level role suited for a developer who is fluent in modern front-end fundamentals and confident translating design into clean, working code.

Working closely with designers and the wider engineering team, you will turn Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces, and help build single page applications that are fast, accessible, and easy to maintain. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience and the overall quality of our digital platforms, supporting our mission to streamline business formation and compliance services for entrepreneurs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
