Role Description
This is a remote, contract Web Developer role focused on building and maintaining high-performing, visually compelling websites for a range of clients.
The Web Developer will collaborate with designers, strategists, and marketers to implement responsive front-end interfaces, integrate back-end functionality, and optimize user experiences across devices and browsers.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Writing clean, maintainable code
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Integrating with Shopify and other platforms
- Ensuring websites meet performance, accessibility, and security standards
The role also involves participating in project planning, estimating development tasks, reviewing code, and contributing to continuous improvement of development workflows and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including Front-End Development, Web Development, and Web Design.
- Proficiency in back-end web technologies and Back-End Web Development, with solid Programming fundamentals.
- Experience building responsive, user-centered websites using modern frameworks, libraries, and CSS methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms, including theme customization and app integrations.
- Comfort working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of performance optimization, accessibility standards, SEO-friendly development, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Previous agency, studio, or client-facing experience is beneficial; relevant education or equivalent professional experience in web development, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
