About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Web Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in React, GSAP/Motion Tech, and experience working with either WordPress or Craft CMS. This role requires a developer who is passionate about creating visually stunning and highly interactive websites that incorporate advanced motion and animation techniques. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with designers and project managers to bring innovative digital experiences to life. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing projects backed by a prominent studio in London. Qualifications
- Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work involving React and motion technology.
- Solid understanding of front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Craft CMS.
- Familiarity with GSAP and other motion animation libraries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote freelance setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement highly interactive and visually engaging websites using React and motion technology.
- Integrate animations and motion effects seamlessly to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with designers to translate visual concepts into functional web interfaces.
- Work with content management systems such as WordPress or Craft to build and customize websites.
- Ensure websites are optimized for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical insights to improve development processes.
- Maintain code quality through regular testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
