About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our client's dynamic team based in Wymondham. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about web development and eager to contribute to innovative projects. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in web development, with proven experience in managing digital or software projects. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, though relevant professional experience will also be considered. Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication abilities are essential. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate technical proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. Previous experience working within an MSP or software house environment will be an advantage, as will a team-oriented mindset and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends.

Responsibilities

The Web Developer will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Managing digital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
  • Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and implementing best practices for web development
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and managing expectations
  • Identifying potential project risks, escalating issues promptly, and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Maintaining and updating existing websites, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring website security and performance
  • Assessing project progress and adapting plans accordingly, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client specifications
