Web Developer (UX/UI)

Build the digital face of a whole portfolio of brands

Most web roles hand you one product. This one hands you a portfolio: restaurants, bars, estates, food manufacturing, and every brand in between. We are bringing design in-house for the first time. You'll be the first hire and the person who sets the standard. If it works, and we think it will, this role becomes the foundation of TopCo's own in-house design studio.

No agency briefs, no waiting weeks for a round of edits. You design it, you build it, you ship it.

About the role

We're hiring a Web Developer with a strong UX/UI eye to own the websites and digital experiences for every TopCo portfolio company.

This is a hands-on role. You'll take projects from first sketch to live site, often several at once. Our brands are consumer-facing and lifestyle-led, so the work needs to feel fresh, clean and beautiful, never corporate.

You'll work closely with leadership and the marketing teams across each brand. You'll have real influence over how the in-house design function grows from here.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Design and build websites and digital experiences for TopCo's portfolio brands
  • Own the UX/UI end to end, from wireframes and prototypes to polished, responsive front-end builds
  • Run several brand projects in parallel, and prioritise and deliver at a pace an agency can't match
  • Keep each brand distinct while raising the design quality and consistency across the whole portfolio
  • Work with brand and marketing stakeholders to turn briefs into experiences that drive performance
  • Gradually bring work back from external agencies and build the processes, tools and standards for a future in-house design studio

About you

  • You're a maker first. You love the craft of design and the satisfaction of shipping it yourself.
  • A strong, hands-on individual contributor who designs and builds, rather than managing others who do
  • A portfolio of consumer-facing, lifestyle-led work with a fresh, clean and modern aesthetic (not primarily B2B)
  • Solid front-end development skills, and comfort turning your own designs into live, responsive sites
  • Exposure to international or global brands, and a mindset that thinks beyond one market
  • Experience across different industries. Hospitality is a bonus, but we're not looking for a purely restaurant background
  • Calm and organised when several projects move at once, and confident working directly with senior stakeholders
