Role Description

This is a part-time remote Web Developer role focused on delivering secure, scalable web solutions that support client technology strategies.

On a day-to-day basis, the Web Developer will design, build, and maintain web applications, collaborating closely with consultants and technical leadership to translate requirements into robust front-end and back-end implementations.

  • Developing responsive user interfaces
  • Implementing server-side logic and APIs
  • Integrating cloud services

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Web Development and Programming skills, with experience building modern, secure applications.

Candidates should possess Front-End Development and Web Design skills, including responsive layouts and accessible user interfaces.

Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, including API design, data handling, and integration with cloud services.

Candidates should be familiar with common web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, a modern front-end framework, and at least one server-side language).

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of security best practices, performance optimisation, and testing for web applications.

Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure, version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and working with regulated or security-sensitive industries is beneficial.

A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
