The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing sports and lifestyle clothing and accessories brand which has gone from strength to strength as they diversify across a range of markets and their brand popularity soars.
We are looking for a Web & Digital Content Assistant to join a busy and growing digital team on a temporary basis with potential to move into a permanent contract in the future. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in digital content, website management or ecommerce who enjoys working with product data, content and digital assets. You'll play an important role in ensuring products are accurately presented across ecommerce platforms and digital channels.
Location: South Normanton
Contract: Temporary, approximately 5–6 months
Pay rate: £15.38 per hour (£30k FTE)

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Working Pattern: Office based initially, with hybrid working available after training – 2 days from home
The Role
- Creating and maintaining product listings across ecommerce platforms.
- Entering and maintaining accurate product data, specifications and pricing.
- Uploading and managing new product launches.
- Sourcing, resizing and optimising product imagery.
- Maintaining digital assets and product information.
- Supporting data cleansing and catalogue improvement projects.
- Writing and editing product descriptions and feature content.
- Optimising product content, titles, meta descriptions and image alt text for SEO.
- Working closely with Marketing, Purchasing, Product and Brand teams.
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain product information and imagery.

About You
- 1–3 years' experience in digital content, website management or a similar role.
- Experience using CMS or ecommerce platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written communication, proofreading and copywriting skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with image editing software such as Photoshop or similar.
- An understanding of SEO and keyword optimisation.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach and willingness to learn.
Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce or similar would be advantageous.
