About the Organisation:

A well-established, purpose-led organisation within the education sector is seeking a temporary Website Editor to join its fully remote Digital, Marketing and Communications team.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on Website Editor role responsible for reviewing, publishing, and maintaining content across the organisation’s websites. The role will primarily focus on day-to-day content publishing, alongside building new pages and supporting website performance and analytics.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, editing, and publishing website content
  • Building and updating web pages using a CMS
  • Ensuring content is accurate, accessible, and on brand
  • Applying basic SEO best practice to online content
  • Monitoring website performance and analytics
  • Working with colleagues across the organisation to manage content requests
  • Identifying and resolving day-to-day website content issues

Candidate Specification:

  • Previous hands-on experience using a CMS to edit and publish web content
  • Ideally at least one year’s experience within web content, digital, or a similar role
  • Strong written skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding of SEO and website best practice
  • Comfortable managing multiple content requests and deadlines
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools would be advantageous
  • Sitefinity experience is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided

Additional Information:

  • Temporary opportunity for approximately 12 weeks, with potential to extend
  • Salary equivalent of £25,245–£31,825 depending on experience
  • 35 hours per week, typically 9:00am–5:00pm
  • Some flexibility around working hours
  • Fully remote role
