Are you a commercially minded Web Merchandiser with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for improving online product performance?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving eCommerce team, take ownership of products across multiple Shopify stores and directly influence how customers discover, engage with and purchase products online.
Your new role
As Web Merchandiser, you will manage and maintain products across multiple Shopify stores, ensuring that product titles, descriptions, specifications, imagery, pricing, variants and categorisation are accurate and consistent.
You will merchandise product ranges to improve product discovery, ensure new products are ready to launch in line with stock availability and commercial plans, and regularly review existing products to identify opportunities to improve their online presentation. You will also identify and resolve product setup, content and merchandising issues across the websites.
A key part of the role will involve reviewing product, brand and category performance. You will identify bestsellers, emerging trends and under performing products, investigate changes in sales performance and provide clear recommendations to improve product visibility and sales. You will also contribute to regular reporting and use data and insight to support trading and marketing decisions.

Working across the business, you will maintain visibility of new products, expected arrival dates, upcoming launches and changes to existing ranges. You will plan product builds in advance, gather the information and assets required for launch, and keep relevant stakeholders informed about launch readiness.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this Web Merchandiser role, you will need:
- Previous experience in eCommerce, online merchandising or product management
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple products and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding product performance
- Confidence working with sales data and identifying trends
- Good spreadsheet skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple teams
- A proactive approach to identifying issues, opportunities and potential improvements
- The confidence to work effectively within a fast-moving eCommerce environment
Experience using Shopify or Shopify Plus would be advantageous, as would experience managing large online product catalogues or working with website analytics, reporting and product performance tools. An understanding of online merchandising principles, including product sorting, collections, cross-selling and product discovery, would also be beneficial.

You will be naturally organised, curious about why products succeed or under perform, and confident challenging how products are presented online. Most importantly, you will take ownership of your area, communicate confidently with stakeholders and proactively identify where attention or improvement is required.
