Help shape how young drivers find their freedom with Veygo.

Search is a vital part of how customers discover Veygo. From helping young drivers find flexible insurance at the right moment to improving how we show up in a competitive market, great SEO connects customers with products that make a real difference. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an SEO Manager who can lead our organic-search strategy and turn insight into meaningful, sustainable growth.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply monitor rankings. You’ll shape how Veygo is discovered, influence our content and technical roadmap, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Content and Commercial teams to solve real customer problems.

Why this role matters

As SEO Manager, you’ll lead the strategy that helps more young drivers discover Veygo when they need us most.

  • You’ll identify opportunities to improve our visibility, make sure our website is technically strong and easy for search engines to understand, and create a clear roadmap for sustainable organic growth.
  • Whether it’s improving the customer journey, supporting a new product launch or helping the business make smarter commercial decisions, your work will have a direct impact across Veygo.
  • Working closely with teams across Marketing, Product, Engineering and Content, you’ll use data and insight to continually improve how we appear in search and how customers experience Veygo online.

You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Develop and deliver an SEO strategy that drives sustainable organic growth.
  • Identify opportunities across technical SEO, content, on-page optimisation and digital PR.
  • Improve website performance, crawlability, indexation and search visibility.
  • Use customer, search and competitor insight to shape content and product priorities.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering and Content teams to embed SEO best practice into everything we build.
  • Measure performance, communicate impact and turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Keep ahead of search trends, algorithm changes and evolving customer behaviour.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience managing and optimising a commercially important website, ideally within an ecommerce, digital product or high-growth environment.
  • Significant hands-on experience using WordPress or a comparable CMS to manage and optimise website content.
  • Strong practical knowledge of SEO across technical, on-page and content optimisation.
  • An understanding of emerging GEO and AI-powered search practices, with an interest in how changing search behaviours affect website and content strategy.
  • Experience using website analytics and performance data to identify issues, opportunities and recommendations.
  • A good understanding of conversion optimisation and experimentation, with experience contributing to or supporting CRO activity.
  • Experience developing website and/or organic search reporting and communicating performance and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience working effectively across disciplines such as Brand, Content, Product, Design, Engineering, Data and Marketing.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence decisions and drive activity forward without relying on formal authority.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Veygo?

At Veygo, we’re here to unlock independence.

For young drivers, getting on the road is a massive life moment - freedom, confidence, responsibility, and finally not needing a lift everywhere. For parents, it’s a big moment too: letting go, while knowing their child is protected and supported.

We make insurance the easy bit.

Since launching in 2016, we’ve helped more than one million customers and sold over eight million policies by making car insurance simpler, more flexible and built around real life. Now, we’re evolving from short-term cover into a brand that supports young drivers through their first years on the road - helping them build safer habits, manage costs and move forward with confidence.

Backed by Admiral Group, we combine scale-up energy with the strength, trust and expertise of one of the UK’s leading insurers. Our teams get the freedom to experiment, the ownership to make things happen and the platform to build products that reach millions.
