Our Mission
For a sustainable industry
We, at Centexbel, believe that Europe has a fascinating textile and plastic processing industry and we are proud to be part of it. Every single day we meet passionate people, we encounter great companies, we discover exciting technologies.
We care for our industry and firmly believe that by building and sharing knowledge and know-how and by engaging in close and deep collaborations we can contribute to a sustainable future for our companies.
This belief strengthens our ambition, defines our culture, shapes our organisation and motivates us to do the things we do. We aim at pushing the boundaries.
Centexbel assists companies in the textile and plastics sectors in their transition to sustainable and circular production, while maintaining high quality standards.
Our research activities focus on the use of bio-based and renewable materials, ecodesign, recycling, and the application of recyclates. We develop solutions that contribute to both innovation and sustainability.
Through consultancy, we promote best practices in sustainable production processes and guide companies in their shift towards a circular economy.
Our testing facilities are continuously expanded and upgraded. We perform analyses to detect regulated substances at low concentrations, assess the quality and suitability of recyclates, measure emissions of volatile compounds, and evaluate the physical performance of products.
As a certification organisation and Notified Body, we help companies comply with European regulations. Through the OEKO-TEX® and Centexbel QA-CER recycled content certification schemes, we offer clear and verifiable ways for companies to communicate their sustainability efforts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
