The Role

As a Website Development Intern, you will work closely with our senior consultants to manage the practical side of client web systems. This is not a role for high-level design or abstract marketing concepts: it is about technical reliability and ensuring that data flows correctly between web pages and internal databases. You will help us untangle messy code, fix broken workflows, and document how things work so the client can manage them once we are finished.

What You Will Do

  • Test website forms and data entry points to ensure information is being captured and routed to the correct internal systems.
  • Identify and resolve broken links, navigation errors, and layout inconsistencies across various browser types.
  • Review server logs and error reports to find recurring technical issues that affect the user experience.
  • Write and update clear technical documentation that explains how specific site features and integrations are built.
  • Assist in the migration of content and data from older platforms to new systems while maintaining data integrity.
  • Clean up redundant HTML and CSS to improve page load times and simplify future maintenance.
  • Configure basic tracking events to help the team understand which parts of the process are causing the most friction for users.
  • Participate in regular quality assurance testing to verify that new technical fixes do not break existing site functions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We Are Looking For

  • A basic understanding of HTML and CSS, and a desire to learn how these languages interact with complex business systems.
  • A logical mindset: you enjoy the process of troubleshooting a problem until you find the specific point of failure.
  • Strong writing skills: you can explain a technical problem or a solution in plain, simple English.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets like Excel or Google Sheets to help organize tasks and track site data.
  • A high level of curiosity about how businesses use web tools to manage their daily operations and internal workflows.
  • The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining consistent communication via text and documentation.
  • Attention to detail: you are the kind of person who notices a broken link or a misaligned image that others might miss.

What We Offer

  • A fully remote work environment where you can contribute from wherever you are most productive.
  • Hands-on experience working on technical projects for a prominent partner in London.
  • Direct mentorship from senior technical practitioners who value clarity, logic, and practical results.
  • This is a paid internship, and the compensation is competitive for this level of role and the current market.
  • A work culture that prioritizes deep focus and written clarity over unnecessary meetings and status calls.
  • Practical training in how to diagnose and repair the technical bottlenecks that real businesses face every day.
  • A straightforward professional environment where we value fixing things correctly over making fancy presentations.

How We Work

Tech Pipeline operates on the belief that clear documentation is more valuable than a long meeting. We are a remote team of practitioners who prefer to stay in the tools and the logs until a problem is solved. We do not use strategy decks to hide broken processes: we fix the logic and stay until the system is stable. Once the work is done and the client can run the process without us, we leave. If you prefer getting into the technical details and seeing a process work better because of your efforts, you will fit in well here.
