WHO WE ARE?
An independent business association representing Lithuania’s engineering and technology industry – companies operating in metal, machinery, equipment, electromechanics, electronics, plastics, and rubber sectors – at both national and international levels.
LINPRA unites 180+ members – manufacturing companies operating in the fields of metal, plastics, electronics, lasers, automotive and more, as well as technology service providers, educational and research institutions, and other stakeholders. It serves as a national platform for the engineering and technology ecosystem – from traditional manufacturing to cutting-edge Industry 4.0 solutions.
LINPRA’s mission is to strengthen the sector’s international competitiveness by supporting digital transformation, innovation, export development, workforce upskilling, and a more favorable business and education environment. We represent the interests of our members and the broader industry at both national and EU levels, ensuring their voice is heard in policymaking and economic development.

The engineering and technology industry is the driving force behind the country’s economy and progress. In 2025, the turnover of companies in this sector in Lithuania amounted to 7.82 billion euros (an increase of 6.6% compared to 2024). About 76% of the engineering industry’s output is exported — in 2025, the volume of exports grew by 8.9% compared to 2024 and reached 5.94 billion euros, accounting for ~23.5% of Lithuania’s total exports. Approximately 2,416 companies operate in the engineering industry, employing about 63,000 people, and that the average salary of LINPRA members is approximately 29% higher than the national average in Lithuania (November 2025.
