If you're a digital/SEO specialist looking for genuine ownership rather than simply managing an agency, this could be a great opportunity!!
You'll join a fast-growing financial services business and take ownership of its website, SEO and emerging AI-search strategy - with the opportunity to shape how the brand and its products are discovered across both Google and the next generation of AI-led search.
Title: Website & Search Performance Lead
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Bonus
I'm working with a high-growth, specialist financial services business at the forefront of the European ETF market, and they're looking to hire a Website & Search Performance Lead to take genuine ownership of their website and organic search strategy.
This is a newly created role reflecting the growing importance of the website as a core commercial platform - driving product discovery, investor education, campaign activity, lead generation and brand visibility.
The really interesting part is the opportunity to shape how the business performs not just across traditional search, but also within AI-led search and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
The Role:
You'll take ownership of the website and search performance, including:
- Managing and optimising the website day-to-day across fund pages, landing pages, educational content and campaign pages.
- Improving website navigation, user journeys, accessibility, mobile experience, page speed and conversion pathways.
- Leading SEO, technical SEO, on-page optimisation and content optimisation.
- Developing the company's approach to AI search and GEO, helping ensure the brand, funds and investment themes are well represented across search and AI-generated results.
- Identifying search-led content opportunities and structuring content around FAQs, authoritative sources and structured data.
- Using analytics and search data to identify opportunities and make practical recommendations.
- Owning reporting across traffic, engagement, rankings, conversions and content performance.
- Supporting product launches and marketing campaigns with high-performing digital journeys.
- Working with internal teams and external agencies to ensure content is accurate, compliant and commercially effective.
- Helping bring greater website and digital expertise in-house, reducing reliance on external agencies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
