About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Website & SEO Manager to shape the digital experience across the Access Creative Group.
This is a high-impact, technical web leadership role with real ownership. You’ll be responsible for how our websites perform, evolve and connect with our audiences from the technology and infrastructure behind them, to the user experience, data, content and continuous optimisation that makes them work.
You’ll lead the development and evolution of our websites, driving new builds, major improvements and ongoing optimisation. You’ll make sure our platforms are fast, secure, accessible, responsive, technically robust and genuinely engaging for our users.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we approach web development across the group, working with designers, developers, IT, Marketing, Admissions, Outreach and senior stakeholders to turn ideas and strategic objectives into digital experiences that deliver results.
You’ll also own our core web analytics and tracking infrastructure, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, using data, insight and experimentation to understand what’s working, identify opportunities and continually improve the digital experience.
SEO is an important part of the role, but this is not simply an SEO position. You’ll provide strategic oversight of SEO through the leadership of our SEO Lead, ensuring search performance is closely connected to the wider website, content and digital strategy.
With multiple projects and opportunities to manage, you’ll be at the centre of our digital activity, bringing together technology, creativity, data and people to continually move our websites forward.
This is a Hybrid role working two days per week in the Manchester Office.
About You
You’re a technically minded web professional who enjoys solving problems and making digital experiences better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You’ll have a strong track record of managing and developing websites, alongside the leadership and project management skills to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
You’ll be comfortable getting into the detail when needed, understanding technologies, analytics, tracking, performance and development while also being able to step back, see the bigger picture and influence strategic decisions.
You’ll thrive on working with designers, developers, marketers, IT teams and senior stakeholders, bringing people together around a shared objective and finding practical solutions to complex challenges.
Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to own and shape something, rather than simply manage a website. You’ll be curious about what’s possible, open to new technologies and ideas, and motivated by continually improving what we do.
It would be great if you have:
- Experience of content marketing and social media SEO.
- Experience of PPC campaigns, including Google Ads and Meta/Facebook Ads.
- Experience with HubSpot and Webflow.
- An understanding of AI-driven SEO tools and automation and how AI can improve efficiency without compromising creativity, authenticity or quality.
