Company Description

We Are Epic Caterers Ltd are wedding and event specialists serving Wales and the South West of the UK, leading the way in premium bespoke catering since 2015. Epic works closely with sustainable, local suppliers to source high-quality produce, ensuring every event reflects both exceptional taste and responsible sourcing.

Role Description

The Wedding and Event Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwaelod-Y-Garth, responsible for driving event bookings and managing client relationships from initial enquiry through to event delivery.

  • Responding to leads
  • Conducting site visits
  • Preparing proposals and quotes
  • Converting enquiries into confirmed weddings and private events

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating closely with the catering and operations teams to ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and met, and that event details are accurately planned and scheduled.
  • Maintaining and developing partner relationships with venues and suppliers.
  • Tracking sales performance.
  • Contributing to marketing initiatives and packages that support business growth.

This position requires regular evening and weekend availability in line with event schedules.

Qualifications

  • Strong event-focused skills, including Event Planning, Event Management, and experience with Private Events.
  • Proven Sales abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and conversion targets.
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, manage expectations, and present proposals clearly.
  • Experience in weddings, hospitality, or luxury catering environments, ideally within the UK market.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Comfort working on-site, including evenings and weekends, and collaborating closely with culinary and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM or booking systems, and basic competence in standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents).
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in hospitality, events, business, or a related field.
