Role Description

The Wedding and Events Coordinator is a full-time role based at The Sessions House in Spalding, with some flexibility for work from home. The coordinator will manage the end-to-end planning of weddings and events, including responding to inquiries, conducting venue showings, and guiding clients through packages, options, and timelines.

The role involves close collaboration with the operations team on room layouts, schedules, and logistics, as well as on-the-day coordination to ensure smooth delivery and high guest satisfaction. The coordinator will also support sales activities, follow up on leads, contribute to marketing initiatives, and help develop new offerings that enhance the venue’s reputation.

Qualifications

  • Strong event planning and event management skills, with experience coordinating weddings or similar private events.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proven customer service skills, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, attentive, and professional client experiences.
  • Sales skills, including handling inquiries, converting leads, upselling packages, and supporting venue promotions.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfort using basic office software and event management tools; experience with CRM or booking systems is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • Prior experience in hospitality, events, or venue coordination is preferred; relevant training or certification in events or hospitality is beneficial.
