Sales Executive – Weddings & Events
We're looking for an enthusiastic, personable and driven Sales Executive to join our growing team at Edenwood Place, an award-winning exclusive-use wedding and events venue in the heart of Kent.
As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you'll take ownership of the sales journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking. You'll build genuine relationships, deliver engaging venue showrounds and confidently guide clients through the decision-making process.
Every enquiry is an opportunity to create a lasting impression. Your ability to understand a client's vision, inspire confidence and create excitement will play a key role in converting enquiries into unforgettable celebrations at Edenwood Place.
What you'll be doing
- Managing new enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed booking and handover to our Events Coordinator
- Managing an active sales pipeline and proactively following up opportunities to maximise conversion
- Conducting engaging and personalised venue showrounds
- Building strong relationships with prospective clients and understanding their requirements
- Providing package, pricing and availability information and preparing quotations
- Confidently handling client questions and objections while maintaining venue value
- Working towards individual and team sales targets and KPIs
- Maintaining accurate client and sales information within our CRM
- Supporting Open Days, showcases, wedding fairs and other promotional activity
- Working closely with our Events Coordinator and Head of Sales & Marketing to deliver an exceptional client journey

About you
You'll be a confident, relationship-led salesperson who genuinely enjoys meeting people and is motivated by achieving results.
You'll have:
- A full UK driving licence due to the venue location
- Previous experience in a customer-facing sales role
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
- Confidence presenting and conducting face-to-face appointments
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, commercially minded and customer-focused approach

Experience within weddings, events or hospitality would be an advantage, as would experience using venue management software such as Sonas.
The Details
📍 Aylesford, Kent – on-site
💷 £28,000–£30,000 FTE, depending on experience + performance-related bonus
🕒 Full-time preferred, although applications from experienced candidates seeking part-time hours will also be considered
📅 Primarily weekday working, with flexibility required for some evening and weekend showrounds, appointments and venue events
