Company Description

Home Instead (Altrincham, Sale and Wythenshawe) require Weekend Care Assistants with previous care experience who share our values of providing the highest quality care delivered with genuine kindness.

We are a home care provider and for this reason we do require people who have their own reliable transport, typically a car, so you can easily go from client to client within the area.

What's on offer?

  • £14.60- £15.60 per hour from 1st April 2026
  • Minimum 1 hour visits with clients

As a weekend care assistant you will support clients to live well at home as their regular companion.

  • Home help- to support our clients to live safe and well at home
  • Personal care- bathing and help to dress/ undress
  • Medication administration- supporting our clients to have a routine with their medication
  • Meal preparation
  • Making appointments - for example with the GP
  • Taking the clients out- shopping, local coffee shop

Some of our clients have long term health conditions and along with support for their personal care, medications and help around the home, we will train you in the use of specialist equipment.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills while delivering the best quality care and working weekend hours that suit you.
