Weekend Home Carer Job Description

  • Taking customers to appointments and social gatherings.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Picking up prescriptions, grocery shopping, and other errands.
  • Performing modest housekeeping, such as laundry or ironing.
  • Make medication reminders available.
  • Assist clients in getting in and out of bed each morning and night.
  • Running a shower or bath and staying nearby in case they require assistance.
  • Assisting with clothing and undressing as well as personal care as needed.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driver's licence is required.
  • We need individuals that have a full UK driving licence. We require that you have your own trustworthy vehicle and be prepared to travel throughout our local areas in order to see our clients.

After completing your training, you’ll be carefully matched to your care recipients and asked to visit them in their homes. Your goal is to make them as comfortable as possible by assisting them with everything from grocery shopping and meal preparation to personal hygiene aid, companionship, and social company.
