Job Description
Location: Sparsholt College, SO21 2NF
Hours: 16 hours per week, weekends only
Pay: £14.21 per hour
Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at Sparsholt College, SO21 2NF. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and talented chef looking for a weekend-only role, working within a friendly and supportive catering team.
As a Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality food services, ensuring excellent standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals
- Ensuring food is produced in line with menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Supporting stock control and minimising food waste
- Assisting with ordering, stock rotation, and storage procedures
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
- Working collaboratively with the wider catering team
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a chef or culinary role
- Passion for food and delivering high-quality meals
- Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
