Veritas Careers are recruiting for an outstanding automotive retailer who have a requirement for a Part Time Handover Specialist to join their busy prestige used car operation in Hinckley.

About the Role

As a Handover Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring every customer enjoys a smooth and professional vehicle handover. You will be responsible for completing essential documentation—including invoices and warranties—accurately and promptly, in line with company procedures and industry guidelines.

This is a flexible, zero-hours position, primarily covering weekends according to business needs. Hours are not guaranteed and will be offered as required. You will be supported by an experienced team in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing customer invoices
  • Setting up vehicle warranties
  • Checking that all vehicle-related paperwork is complete and accurate
  • Ensuring documentation complies with company and industry requirements
  • Completing follow-up actions promptly
  • Helping to provide customers with a smooth and positive vehicle handover experience

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a fast moving retail environment is essential – as well as a genuine desire to provide a first class customer experience.

Working Hours: 9-6 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday

  • Manages their time effectively and works confidently to tight deadlines
  • Is comfortable working in a busy office environment
  • Can work independently and contribute positively within a team
  • Remains calm under pressure and takes a flexible approach
  • Is confident processing official documentation accurately and promptly
  • Is committed to providing an excellent customer experience
  • Can work flexibly at weekends when shifts are available
  • Has motor-trade experience, although this is not essential
