Weekend Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: St Andrews, Harrogate
Salary: £14.70 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- Thursday and Friday: 07.00-14.30
- Saturday and Sunday: 07.30-15.00
- Monday: 07.00-14.30
About the Role
Our housekeeping team is deservedly proud of the exceptional standards of service we provide in our en-suite rooms, public areas, and leisure facilities.
We are looking for a conscientious, reliable individual with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills to supervise our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role, out on the floor where previous experience of housekeeping and laundry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing support as directed and deputizing in the absence of the Head Housekeeper
- Checking all areas, including bedrooms, throughout the day, ensuring they are cleaned to the PTC standards.
- Self-catering properties to be checked following turn outs.
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and training of new and existing team members.
- Responsible for stock control, purchasing, and the asset register, liaising with the Head Housekeeper.
- Assist in the preparation of events held within the Centre.
- Implementation, training, and support to the housekeeping team of the new IT system.
