Location: Bamber Bridge
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shifts available: Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm or 3pm-10:30pm

Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
As a Weekend On-Call Coordinator, you’ll be an important point of contact for our services outside normal office hours.

You’ll handle calls from a range of people, including service users and their families, care professionals, local councils, GPs, health professionals, community services and emergency services.
You’ll:
- Respond to incoming calls quickly, calmly and professionally
- Gather important information and accurately record details on our systems
- Support with queries and unexpected situations
- Make decisions on the appropriate next steps
- Communicate effectively with care teams and other professionals
- Help make sure our services continue to run safely and smoothly throughout the weekend
It’s a varied role where no two shifts are exactly the same, and you’ll know that the work you do is making a genuine difference.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
Experience in care, customer service or a contact centre environment would be helpful, but it’s not essential. We’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
More importantly, we’re looking for someone who is:
- Calm and confident when dealing with unexpected situations
- Caring and compassionate
- Reliable and organised
- A strong communicator
- Comfortable making decisions and using their initiative
- Confident using computer systems
- Keen to learn and develop as part of a supportive team
