We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Weekend Production Operative to join our team in a crucial manufacturing role. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in accuracy, and are looking for stable weekend hours, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
This role kicks off this Saturday, 6th June, keeping our distribution pipeline moving efficiently.
Role Overview & Future Potential
Hours: 25 hours per week (Weekend only)
Contract: Temporary until September, with a review to extend through our quiet period.
Career Growth: For the right candidate, there is a genuine opportunity to transition into a regular Monday-to-Friday shift after this period.

Shift Pattern & Schedule
Enjoy having your entire Monday through Friday completely free!
Saturday: 6:00 am – 7:00 pm (includes a 30-minute break and 2x10 minute breaks)
Sunday: 6:00 am – 7:00 pm (includes a 30-minute break and 2x10 minute breaks)
Start Date: Saturday, 6th June
Key Responsibilities
As a vital part of our production line, you will focus on the final stages of our manufacturing process:
- Operating and managing the end-of-book trimming machinery.
- Safely and efficiently stacking and palletising finished books as they come off the line.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace.
- Conducting basic quality checks to ensure high standards are met before distribution.

What We Are Looking For
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical, repetitive work, including lifting and palletising books throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Rock-Solid Reliability: Absolute punctuality is a must, as you will be managing a key operational shift.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye to ensure our finished products look great and are packed safely.
