The Opportunity
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service?
Staffline is looking for a Weekend Staffing Coordinator to join our Operations Hub team. In this role, you'll provide vital out-of-hours support to our clients, temporary workforce, and on-site teams, ensuring staffing requirements are met across the weekend.
As part of our central hub operation, you'll play a key role in filling and managing shifts, handling last-minute changes, supporting payroll administration, and assisting with recruitment activity when required. No two weekends are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working under pressure.
Previous recruitment experience is beneficial, but not essential. If you have strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to think on your feet, we'll provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.

As a Weekend Staffing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and fulfilling temporary staffing requirements across multiple sites
- Booking, filling, amending, and cancelling shifts to meet client demands
- Responding to worker and client queries in a professional and timely manner

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
